The New Chelsea Art Fair closed on Sunday 14th April.
The New Stand Plan and ‘Look’ of the fair gave space for visitors to view the art fair in spacious, contemporary surroundings, whilst embracing the elegance of Chelsea Old Town Hall. Many visitors and galleries alike were very complimentary to the designers of the fair. Indeed many noted galleries have enquired about exhibiting next year.
The Fair ended on a high with all galleries making sales. Many surpassed their targets, with final significant sales, and shipments overseas continuing beyond the 5.00pm close.
It was an honour to have Jane Asher to open the fair on behalf of Parkinsons UK. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People were the second nominated charity.
Visitors to the fair were not just locally based in Chelsea, but galleries reported sales to customers visiting from America, the Far East and Australia.
Following the success of this Fair, the organisers are looking forward to 2014.
The next fair will run from the 10th – 13th April 2014.
